Many modern vehicles include sophisticated wiring systems (often including CAN BUS communications), which frequently interface with on board safety systems. In these cases it is essential to use original equipment style wiring looms with the tow bar installation. Failure to fit a dedicated wiring solution could lead to dire consequences, particularly when having your vehicle serviced or in the event of having to make a warranty claim.
